He taught about the REALM OF GOD. This realm is one of love and justice, hope and peace. It is a realm of abundance, and we are to share that abundance with the world.
“What does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God.” Micah 6:8
We offer an experience of community whether you worship with us or not. From the annual Jan. 1st Pancake Breakfast to the Memorial Day Carnival to the Election Day Lunch to Breakfasts for a Cause, people are invited to share and care around the table. There are opportunities for our neighbors to help others by working with the Lakota People on the Pine Ridge Reservation or in helping a Refugee Family get settled in our country. You can work with the Mat Squad to turn old plastic bags into mats for the homeless or you can write post cards with the Art for Justice project. Volunteers help the Town Food Pantry (housed on our property) and deliver medical equipment free of charge to those who use our Medical Equipment Loan Program. Others work on a committee to determine recipients of grants to continue their important work on behalf of those in need. Blood Drives, held 4 times per year seek donors and volunteers.
IN GRATITUDE TO GOD, we seek to root out injustice; to stand in solidarity with those who are poor and oppressed; to fight systemic racism and seek reconciliation; to give with inspiring generosity; to love our neighbors as ourselves; and to care for the earth.
YOU ARE INVITED TO SHARE WITH US IN BOTH THE JOY AND CHALLENGE OF DISCIPLESHIP.
